Catch the Bus, LLC has a web site that showcases their business of restoring VW buses. They obtain an old bus that you want and restore it to your specifications. Upon establishing the specifications, they (Catch the Bus) requites a 50% down payment (deposit) to begin the process. They give an estimated ready date and then you wait. There are many of us, 20 that I know of, that have begun to worry about their business. The red flags are such that many have requested the return of their deposit. They have refused to do so and have cut off all communications with their customers. I also contacted Catch the Bus in January, 2010 to restore a type 2 VW Bus for me. We sent $12,050 for a deposit and almost a year later I'm still waiting for my bus. When I first put down the deposit I was told the wait time was about 9 months, it has now almost a year, and all I want is my deposit returned. However, in the past 3 weeks all communication with Catch the Bus has been lost. They do not respond to emails or phone calls. Their voicemail is so full you can’t leave a message. We need HELP!
