Borman Autoplex in Las Cruces has made me believe in the stereotype of car salesmen. My wife went there to buy a car to take advantage of the government program "Cash for Clunkers". She found a car signed papers and wrote a check for the agreed upon amount and according to the Gov. Program we should have drove away with the car that day. We did not know at that time how the program should work and Borman took advantage of that and miss informed and delaying us in the purchase of the car. We have waited for 3 week made numerous phone calls and we felt like they where avoiding us when we where checking on the status of the vehicle. We actually went down to the dealership ,which is a 1 hour drive for us, and they said they are still waiting on the Government to give the "financial credit". Temporarily satisfied we went back home and dialed the hotline shown on the government website. The government informed me only "participating dealerships" handle that program and we should have drove away with the car the first day. Borman blamed the government for not getting financial credit and all the while offering us to make a deal for a "trade-in". Luckily they reimbursed us for the check they cashed. Yes they cashed the check and did not give us a care. The only thing we got in return for the check we gave them was avoidance, rudeness and lying. Borman needs to clean up its act!!
