Review 10/22/2007

Reading the reviews for Big Bear Cool Cabins was painful. I've had nothing but a positive experience using them over the last 4 years.
I've seen a number of posts suggesting to read the BBB off of trip-advisor. While I can't speak to others experiences, I *CAN* speak of mine. Our family has enjoyed every summer we've used them -- and this will be our first winter coming up.
Most of the complaints appear to be that full refunds weren't provided when the cabin had problems or didn't meet their expectations. I can only suggest reading your contract and taking out travelers insurance. Sometimes things happen.
With regards to the conditions of the homes, the worst *I'VE* seen was cobwebs in the windows and high-ceilings. I've never experienced dirty towels or linens.
If someone wants to claim I'm an employee of cool cabins, please email me at jhonryan@gmail.com. I'll be happy to talk to you directly.
On a closing note, I count 46 complaints (not over 50 for this year alone as stated by one reviewer). Of those, there are 24 (as of this time) which really concern me -- it suggest that there were 24 occasions that they should have resolved before a BBB complaint -- but I'm unfamiliar with either sides of the complaints.
