I took my Dyson vacuum cleaner for repair. The work is under warranty. When they called me back, they said the work they are going to do is not covered due to the carpet freshener residue left in the tank, and they claimed it was clogged. My husband is mechanically inclined and he knows how the equipment operates. He found out the valve switching mechanism outside of the suction system is broken. There is a plastic hook that switches the valve from wand to floor. Right now the setting is suction only at the wand. So there is suction. They claimed there is no suction. These guys are getting paid by Dyson to repair warranty work and yet they want to double dip by conning customers. It is really bad for Dyson to have this place as an authorized repair place.
