Wish I could give ZERO stars!! Big time scammers, how have they managed to stay in business with all of the awful reviews?? Be careful, they have different websites under different names, with the same "economic stimulus special" that I totally fell for- SHADY!! I found them online as "Pasadena Movers" but when they answer their phone, they say "LA Moving." Here are just two of their websites:

My story:
Scheduled my local move over the phone. Like a dummy, I didn't think it was abnormal to give $100 deposit up front. Credit card charged immediately. Apparently, most of the legit movers don't ask for a deposit!
Received confirmation phone call by them 3 days prior to move- the ONLY time I ever got a phone call.
Week later- waiting for my 12 pm scheduled move in my house full of packed boxes. Called at 12:30, 1:30, 4:20, 5:30 pm (left an angry voicemail), and finally sometime after 6 pm (left a voicemail to call me back - are you showing up at all???) Those first phone calls- someone said they would call me back and at 4pm, I got some BS excuse about a truck breaking down. No one ever, ever called me back. At 6 pm, I started making phone calls to all of the moving companies w/good reviews that I found. Luckily, Father and Son Moving called me and got me moved the next morning- they were AWESOME.
It's now been nearly 2 weeks since my scheduled move- I've never heard back from them ONCE. I've called twice since, w/my last phone call today threatening lawyers. Supposedly, they're going to refund my deposit (they said that in the first phone call)- thank god for AMEX, I already disputed the charge the day the movers didn't show up.
