Bought a rifle, mask, and magazine from Airsoft Megastore. They were so poorly packaged the mask was deformed and broken because the rifle was sitting on it in the box, the rifle sight-viewer fell off during my son's first use, and the magazine didn't fit. We contacted the company within hours of opening the box about the mask, yet they refuse to refund us the full value of the mask. They want to send a replacement, which we no longer need because we bought one for a better price at a chain sports store. My son was required to have one for a game he was playing and Airsoft Mega hadn't resolved the issue yet, so we had to buy another because we needed it. We explained that immediately, but they refuse to budge.
My son would like a replacement for the $110 dollar rifle, but Airsoft Mega is charging us $20 S&H each way - that makes the gun cost $150!!!! And it is their poor packaging that caused the problem! They want us to pay to return the mask and gun and then they will determine the amount of store credit or replacements we receive.
They made us send photographs of the damage but won't use them to determine our store credit or replacement, they want us to pay S&H for the gun and the mask even though it was their poor S&H that caused the problem, and they may deduct the original S&H that was FREE because we ordered over $150 worth of merchandise from any store credit they give us.
Feels a lot like I am serving them and getting charged more money because of poor packaging or poor quality control and NO customer service!!!
They also bombard you with emails listing their policies instead of trying to help you, they will tell you one thing on the phone but will refuse to put it in writing in an email, and will not provide the name of the representative in their emails or on the phone.
