This company has a horrible history of taking care of it's customers, paying and especially non-paying. Many people have paid for their coins to purchase items in game and never received the coins or items purchased with the coins. Acclaim does not respond to a large number of claims about this. There is a large number of hackers in the game, and they have a very ineffectual system for banning them. They rely on us, the gamers, to report them. Once reported, the hackers are usually not banned, and continue to run rampant in game, ruining gameplay for legitimate gamers. There are also a large number of players whose accounts have been hacked, either their characters are deleted, used by the hacker, sold, or their items and in game money are taken. Acclaim will restore accounts after a long process, and often the accounts are never restored or Acclaim simply does not respond to the complaint. If the account is restored, a purchase of $100 worth of coins is the only way to get any items stolen returned. A recent change in Acclaim's policy makes it impossible to get any response from Acclaim unless the user has purchased coins in the past, non-paying users are directed to the forums.
Acclaim needs to seriously revise it's practices in order to increase customer satisfaction, including a new system for support that makes it easier and faster to get in contact with someone. I, and many others have tried contacting support, only to get no response, or unhelpful advice.
