I work for a finance company and we received a notice of stored vehicle which is very common for our industry. We sent an employee to retrieve OUR vehicle and the operations manager refused to release the vehicle because our employee did NOT have a repo license. He is not a repossession agent--he is our employee. When I called to find out what law the operations manager was relying on in order to refuse the release of our company's vehicle he simply said "I don't have time for this" and hung up on me.
