Ex-Employee of 10 months: READ
|
Flat out, it took me 2 weeks to realize that the first few clients I signed up HADN'T been scammed but I would say they DID get ripped off! They paid $399.99 to get started and were charged $199.99 a month every month after that. Unfortunately, when you are first hired NOTHING is explained to you or how the business works. I saw A LOT of agents come and go. The company pays out cash bonuses called "spiffs". One of the "spiffs" is the agent's choice of a new flat screen tv, iPad or LapTop if that agent does 10 deals (new clients) in a day. No agent does more than ONE OR TWO deals in a day and is looked at as a KING if they get THREE because the Philippino telemarketers say it's a "free service" when they first contact a business owner and before they transfer that business owner to a sales agent! When the agent is let go for not producing enough deals, then that agents residual commissions go straight into the companies pocket! What is not understood (by me or anyone else) is how the owner/CEO, Russell Wallace, can let this go on. He actually is a good guy and so it's surprising that THIS is the type of company that he is running! I stayed for as long as I did because when I confronted Corp about the business practices, I was then offered a higher position with a nice base salary which I happily accepted. But I do feel bad about those companies where the promised results were not achieved! This company would actually be a solid company if they just followed through with what they promised instead of offering basically a free service that Google offers for hundreds of dollars each month! My simple advice: use another company! Allow yourself to be transferred to a sales agent after the telemarketer tells you that the service is free and isn't a sales call or whatever. Once you are transferred, simply tell the agent you already work with 29 Prime and then hangup. In their system it will show that your company has already been contacted and is already a customer so that they STOP calling you! God bless, everyone!
