My file has just closed and I am very please with the results. I have read some of the other comments and one thing I have learned in my many years is that the customer is not always right.
My file took 3 months and I was very stressed at times. I called them and bugged. They told me my file was in review by the lenders. With 100s of thousands of cases, you can imagine the work load. It is important for all home owners to understand that it has and will be your responsibility to pay the money back that you borrow. If you wait too late loan modification may not be the solution.
Please do your due diligence. I am going to post a list of links that will help. I was referred to 21 Century Legal Services in Rancho Cucamonga by a friend. I was one month behind on my mortgage. They told me they will do their best to help me with my case. I chose to continue to make as much of a mortgage payment that I could afford. This is what I found during the wait:

please review this post by ABC News. and please make sure you are not relying a loan modification company to save you from your irresponsibility, over spending, and greed. I know many people who are not victims of their mortgages adjusting and know just as many who are not facing financial hardships with their housing situations.
