I had an interesting experience with Digital landing, AKA buytelco. This easily could have been a bad review, but they pulled it out at the last minute, but it took me several months and many emails to get things fixed. I am speaking specifically of Digital Landing, which is a third party company that signs you up for Comcast services, and offers bonuses for going through them instead of Comcast directly. In this case they offer Amazon gift cards of varying values for Comcast bundled services, and everything seemed self-explanatory, but there were complications. I made my original order with someone named Tony there, and Tony was either ignorant of Comcasts true costs and options, or he intentionally misled me to get the largest package. He promised a whole bunch of stuff about what Comcast offered, that, after I signed up and called them for installation, turned out to NOT BE TRUE at all. Also, the prices digital landing offered on comcast packages were out of date, and not available at all directly from Comcast anymore. So Obviously immediately I called digital landing back, explained what had happened and what I had found out, and explained all the untrue things that had been misrepresented, and spoke extensively with supervisor Marlin, and he seemed helpful, and told me Tony was wrong and that he would make sure that tha6t type of thing doesn't happen again. So after this I decided to go with a smaller package, but one that satisfied my needs. This was all within ONE HOUR of my original call. So after that they sent me the rebate for for the LARGER package for my amazon gift card, but I needed the smaller form, and over the course of the next TWO months, I called numerous times asking for them to send me the new rebate form, and they kept saying they would, but they NEVER did. Finally I received an email from the rewards program director, Felix Luna, telling me that "Because I changed my order, I was INELIGIBLE for the gift card"!!!! I was like WHAT?????? NO freaking way! So I then emailed Felix and explained EVERYTHING from the beginning, and all the people involved and all the steps along the way, and he promised to review the telephone recordings and get back to me on Monday. I didn't hear from him though, until after I had promised to write THIS review, either good or bad, depending on the outcome. But then he wrote back, said he listened to the recordings, and that he'd immediately send the gift card, which he did, and so even after all that headache and frustration, I did receive it, so that is a good outcome. The only thing that would have made it better is if none of this would have happened in the first place, they had the prices right, they didn't promise untrue things, and they didn't tell me I was ineligible for the gift card. Felix did say that they were appreciative of my patience, and that they were trying very hard to improve "Customer experience", and I am glad of that. So after everything I give them a solid B grade.
