Our phones have had several different malfunctions over the period of time we have been with 8x8. Our recent major issue started last weekend when more then one person called the customer would get a message that their call could not go through or that the number was disconnected. I had other customers saying they couldn't get through to us all day, trying multiple times. Pervious to knowing this, that same day, I had ordered a new extension and a new phone costing me $179. The representative charged my bank account for this twice. When I asked for a refund they said it was going to take 4-6 weeks to get this refund even though it was their mistake. Since I installed the additional phone yesterday several of our calls are going to voicemail and only a few customers are actually leaving a voicemail and we are losing the customers that don't. SInce their tracking system isn't real time it takes a few hours before I can see what phone numbers we have missed. At that point most of the customers have gone with a different company. Today our entire phone system, ALL of our phone numbers, did not work AT ALL for over 3 hours. For over 3 hours we lost all calls from customers and the message said our phones were disconnected. I called customer service and they said there was nothing they can do. Our company just spent $7098 in direct mail advertising and more for internet advertising for phones that say they are disconnected when a customer calls them. SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR BUSINESS--DO NOT GO WITH 8x8!!!!!!!!!
