Is 2000 Realty Co in London, Ontario a legitimate company?
|

I have been approached by 2000 Realty Co, located in London, Ontario, CA, about the sale of a timeshare property I have in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. They told me they have a buyer, but want me to give them a credit card number to place a hold against for the $1389.00 closing fee. Not knowing anything about this company, I have refused that option, even offering to lower the asking price instead of putting up any up-front money. Do you have any information on this company, as to whether the company is legitimate, or is this a scam?

Terri, the London, Ontario Bureau has sent requests to the company for information. The company has not responded. You did well not to pay an up-front fee for the sale of your timeshare. Most of the timeshare scams require this up front fee and then fail to deliver.
