Annoying situation with the dryer
|
7/25/2024 12:20 PM (PST)
I'm desperate for some help. My dryer has stopped working, and it's been a nightmare! I've checked the fuses, the plug, and even called an electrician, but nothing seems to work. The technician mentioned something about the dryer vent being clogged. Has anyone else dealt with this? What should I do?

Oh no, that sounds awful! I've been through something similar, and I know how frustrating it can be. Clogged dryer vents are a common issue and can cause serious problems, including fires! Before anything else, you need to check your dryer vent. Regular cleaning is essential. According to the experts at Green Ductors, you should clean your dryer vent at least once a year to prevent these issues. You can find detailed guidance here https://greenductors.com/blog/duct-cleaning/how-often-to-clean-dryer-vent/

I completely your frustration, but I had a different experience with my dryer. My problem turned out to be more about the dryer itself rather than the vent. If you've already cleaned the vent and it's still not working, you might want to consider other factors. Sometimes, the problem can be with the dryer's internal components, like the heating element or the thermostat.
